One purpose is to detect whether the filter (dust collector) is clogged. There are impurities in the gas, and the purpose of using a filter is to filter these impurities. When the filter filters out too many impurities, the pressure difference between the front and rear of the filter will increase (will it be clogged), so a pressure difference transmitter is needed to monitor the working condition of the filter. If the pressure difference increases, the filter needs to be replaced or cleaned.
Another use is that when the filter is blocked, the gas cannot pass through, and the pressure at the back of the filter will decrease. Air may enter the gas pipeline from the gas outlet and mix with the gas, which may cause an explosion when you ignite it again. Therefore, for safety reasons, this differential pressure transmitter should be installed. Based on the above two reasons, this differential pressure transmitter must be installed.

The pressure difference alarm adopts imported high-performance pressure sensing chips, combined with advanced circuit processing and temperature compensation technology, which can accurately measure the magnitude of gas pressure difference. It has the advantages of high sensitivity, high accuracy, strong overload resistance, strong anti-interference ability, and long-term stability and reliability.
1. Wiring instructions:
There is an 8P wiring terminal block inside the differential pressure alarm, as shown in the figure on the right. 1 and 2 are connected to 220V AC power, and 6, 7, and 8 are the normally closed, normally open, and common terminals of the relay, respectively.
2. Panel Description:
As shown in the figure, PV displays the measured value, SV displays the alarm value, and when the measured value is greater than the alarm value, the pressure difference alarm will sound. The differential pressure alarm has two alarm outputs AL1 and AL2. When AL1 alarms, the AL1 indicator light will light up, the alarm indicator light will flash and emit a buzzing sound. When AL2 alarms, the AL2 indicator light will light up, and the relay will act. The relay interface is the three terminals on the right side (6, 7, 8) of the 8P terminal block.
The pressure difference alarm displays the alarm value of SV1 by default when powered on, and the factory default values of SV1 and SV2 are 1500, which means that when the pressure difference is greater than 1500PA, the alarm will sound. Press the settings button to switch between displaying two alarm values SV1 and SV2, and press the increase and decrease buttons to set the alarm values.
3. Installation method:
1. Install self tapping screws, open the cover, insert self tapping screws into the installation holes at the four corners, fix them on the wall and installation plate, and then cover the cover back.
2. Hanging feet installation: The alarm is equipped with 4 mounting feet, which can be installed at the bottom of the housing and then fixed to the wall or mounting plate with screws.
4. Installation precautions:
1. Interface size: A diameter of 8 tower head, with the long port being a high-voltage interface and the short port being a low-voltage interface. If connected in reverse, the PV value will be negative.
When measuring clean gas, it can be installed freely. When measuring humid or dirty gas, the pressure port must be installed perpendicular to the ground to prevent foreign objects from entering the pressure port.

The differential pressure alarm has two pressure ends, divided into a high pressure end (H) and a low pressure end (L). Measure the pressure difference between the high and low voltage ends. So how to determine the differential pressure range? Firstly, the system pressure during normal operation of the tested system should be considered, which can also be referred to as unilateral pressure. Secondly, it is necessary to determine the value of the pressure difference between the tested end and the reference end, that is, the range of the pressure difference alarm. If the high-pressure end pressure of the tested device must be higher than the low-pressure end, a single range can be selected, such as 0-10Kpa, 0-10Kpa; If you cannot determine the high voltage end, you can choose+-1KPa or+-10Kpa, so that both ends can be connected freely and testing is more convenient.
Example 1: Check if the performance of the filter meets the standards. When the inlet pressure of the filter is 300KPa and the outlet pressure of the filter is less than 280KPa, the filter needs to be replaced. So, when selecting a differential pressure transmitter, you can choose based on the parameters of a system pressure of 300KPa and a differential pressure range of 20Kpa.
Example 2: Check the consistency of pressure inside two high-pressure tanks. The standard pressure inside the tank is 1 megapascal, and both tanks are inflated simultaneously to ensure that the pressure difference between the two tanks is less than 1 kilopascal. Then we can select the range of the differential pressure transmitter based on the parameters of system pressure of 1 megapascal and differential pressure+-1 kilopascal.
